Endoscopic Treatment of Zenker's Diverticula

Endoscopic Treatment of Zenker's Diverticula

Zenker's diverticulum is a swelling or pulsion that forms at the back of the throat at the junction of the pharynx and esophagus in older patients. It can cause cervical esophageal dysphagia with the result of trapping food and regurgitation. This video reviews both an open and endoscopic diverticula resection techniques to treat the condition.
